Great Weekend for Our Women’s Teams!

It was a busy and exciting weekend for our women’s teams as they took part in two preseason tournaments.

Our First Team travelled to Taupō for the Janine Giddy Football Tournament, putting in a fantastic effort across the weekend with 3 wins and 2 losses. A great result and a solid lead-in to the upcoming season!

Meanwhile, our other women’s team competed in the Western Rangers Preseason Tournament in Hastings, finishing the weekend with 2 wins and 3 losses. The team had a great time and it was a fantastic opportunity to build combinations and get valuable game time.

A fun weekend was had all round, with plenty of great football, team spirit, and preparation for the season ahead. Well done to all the players involved!
